No. Psychologists in the state of Texas are not licensed to prescribe medication. Dr. Dixon's work centers on comprehensive psychological evaluation, expert testimony, and evidence-based assessment.
A forensic evaluation is conducted specifically for legal purposes, such as determining competency to stand trial, assessing risk, or evaluating parenting capacity for family court. A clinical evaluation is conducted outside of a legal context, typically to help an individual better understand their own psychology, diagnoses, or mental health functioning.
Yes. Dr. Dixon holds PSYPACT certification, which allows her to provide services virtually across 40 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. In-person evaluations are conducted at her Southlake, TX office, and she is available to travel out of state for select cases.

A Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider is a specialty designation in Texas held by a small number of licensed psychologists. It authorizes Dr. Dixon to provide evaluation and treatment services for individuals who have engaged in sexually deviant behaviors, in both civil and criminal contexts.

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Counsel investigates and prosecutes professional misconduct committed by marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, psychologists, psychological associates, social workers, and licensed specialists in school psychology.
Although not every complaint against or dispute with a licensee involves professional misconduct, the Executive Council will provide you with information about how to file a complaint.
